THE ARTIST

Jutheanne Cruz is a Filipina Makeup Artist based in London. She creates beauty for fashion, film, editorial and bridal events.

She graduated in 2003 with a bachelor's degree, majoring in International Business at Assumption College, Philippines.

 

Jutheanne's first makeup artistry instructors were Singapore and Los Angeles trained. She took the basic makeup foundation course at HD Makeup Studio in Manila, Philippines. She then continued to satisfy her eagerness to learn more about makeup artistry at one of the best makeup schools in London, the Academy of Freelance Makeup (AOFM). She gained a certificate as a Total Pro in makeup, hairstyling and nails in February 2011, and since then has been undertaking AOFM's masterclasses to keep her updated with the latest products, trends and techniques.

 

Jutheanne uses products from Laura Mercier, Armani, Bobbi Brown, Chanel, YSL, Makeup Forever, Illamasqua, Shu Uemura, and Charlotte Tilbury amongst others. She combines these as required to create customized looks for her clients; each of whom is unique.

 

Jutheanne is currently employed as one of the Regional Makeup Artists for Laura Mercier in the UK.
